Adıyaman’da 6 Şubat depremlerinde hasar gören köylerin yeniden imar çalışmaları kapsamında, Zey Köyü yeniden imar edildi. Adıyaman merkeze bağlı Zey Köyü’nde yapımı tamamlanan 117 kırsal konut ve yeni halı saha vatandaşların kullanımına açıldı.
Adıyaman Valisi Dr. Osman Varol, Zey Köyü’nü ziyaret ederek tamamlanan kırsal konutlarda ve halı sahada incelemelerde bulundu. Ayrıca temel kazısı tamamlanan cami inşaat alanında yürütülen çalışmalar hakkında yetkililerden bilgi aldı.
Ziyareti sırasında halı sahada oyun oynayan çocuklarla futbol oynayan Vali Osman Varol, köy sakinlerinin mutluluğuna ortak oldu.

Vali Osman Varol ziyaret sırasında yaptığı açıklamada, “Depremde hasar alan ilimizi, ilçelerimizi ve her bir köyümüzü eskisinden daha güzel, daha güvenli ve daha konforlu bir şekilde yeniden imar ederek vatandaşlarımızın yerleşimine açtık. Devletimizin desteği, milletimizin dualarıyla köylerimizi birer birer yeniden ayağa kaldırıyoruz. Her yeni ev bir yuva, her yeni yuva bir umut. Kırsal konutlarımızın Zey Köyümüze ve tüm vatandaşlarımıza hayırlı olmasını diliyoruz, güle güle otursunlar” ifadelerini kullandı.
