Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) Adıyaman İl Başkanı Engin Doğan, CHP 38. Olağan Kurultayı seçim sonuçlarına ilişkin açıklamada bulundu.
Başkan Doğan:” Demokrasi şöleni havasında geçen seçim sonuçlar hepimiz için hayırlı olsun” dedi.
CHP’nin “İkinci Yüzyılda Birlik ve Demokrasi” sloganıyla düzenlenen 38. Olağan Kurultayı’nda, değişimcilerin adayı Özgür Özel, ikinci turda 812 oyla, partinin yeni genel başkanı seçildi.
Kurultay sonucuna ilişkin açıklamada bulunan Başkan Doğan, CHP’de değişim rüzgarının başladığını ifade ederek,”Pazar günü yapılan kurultayda yeni Genel Başkanımız CHP’ye uzun yıllar emek vermiş ve değişim hareketini başlatmış siyasetçi Özgür Özel oldu. Kendisine çıktığı bu kutlu yolda başarılar diliyorum ve CHP’yi en iyi şekilde temsil edeceğini düşünüyorum. 13 yıldır CHP genel başkanlığını yürüten ve CHP için birçok başarılı çalışmalara imza atan önceki dönem Genel Başkanımız Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’na da bu zamana kadar ki emeklerinden dolayı teşekkür ediyorum. Önümüzde yerel seçimler var. Bizler de değişim rüzgarı ile birlikte çalışmalarımıza devam edecek ve yerelde iktidar olacağız. Hepimiz için yeni alınan kararlar hayırlı olsun” dedi.
